Hi! This is Zihuan Zhang.
I love human and machine brain stuff, and jazz music!
I work on AI and neuroscience research at Hopkins.

I'm an undergrad at Johns Hopkins, pursuing three majors in computer science, neuroscience, and music. I'm primarily working on projects in the Computational Neuroscience Lab directed by Dr. Ernst Niebur and the Social Cognitive AI Lab directed by Dr. Tianmin Shu.
My ongoing research interests are embodied AI, multimodal reasoning, architectures for adaptive attention, memory framework, emotion-theory of mind, and their equivalent representations in the human brain; that is, the brain architecture (circuitry, connectomics, representational learning and spaces, to name a few) for high-level functions and using AI design as models for understanding these processes.
I'm also a jazz enthusiast! I'm a part-time jazz pianist, and I do independent music production, mixing, and mastering. I love both classical composition and electronic/experimental music making, and I have experience on and behind stages.
This site is a small archive of my academic and artistic projects, as well as some writings and thoughts if you care enough to look around. 来都来了。
